Senior Consultant
The role – Senior Consultant (corporate communications)
Acting as a day-to-day point of contact for clients and playing a key role in account teams, with a particular focus on media relations and corporate communications.
Writing of client-facing documents, including press releases, pitch notes, messaging, briefing documents, and owned channel communications collateral.
Contributing to the delivery of cross-channel strategy and ensuring standards of quality across all work.
Leading on media relations activity for clients.
Supporting across new business activity, from research through to proposal development.
Bringing new ideas and insight into the team, and to clients – stretching our broader thinking and capabilities.
Supporting on crisis communications, including media and social media monitoring
We’re looking for candidates with:
Candidates with minimum 18 months experience in a communications role at a consultancy or relevant in-house role are preferred.
A keen interest in the media landscape and different media formats, news and current affairs, creative storytelling, digital campaigning and business.
Excellent writing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
A passion for a fast-paced and varied working environment, such as in a busy press office, in-house communications team or PR agency.
Some experience in agency or equivalent in-house role with experience of delivering high-quality communications work.
A good understanding of the media (at a national, regional, trade and specialist level) and how the landscape is changing.
A proactive approach to client accounts, anticipating upcoming moments and client needs, and bringing forward ideas and recommendations.
Ability to manage multiple clients and workstreams, prioritising effectively across different pieces of work

Work with well-known companies and brands in different sectors making an important, tangible contribution to the UK.
Help these clients, and our team, to develop and execute campaigns, with specific focus on corporate comms and media relations.

Benefits:
Bonus: Discretionary bonus of up to 15% of salary if the company performs and you individually perform
Contract: Full-time
Wellbeing / TOIL Day: working 29 in 30 days for all employees - i.e. equivalent of one day additional leave per month.
Health Insurance: Entitled to participate in our Health Insurance scheme on completion of your probationary period.
Pension: We will comply with the pension duties concerning auto-enrolment from the date that we are legally required to do so.
Leave: 25 days holiday per year (Jan-Dec) prorated, plus bank holidays
Office working: 60/40 Hybrid working
Work from abroad: 2 weeks 'work from abroad/away' allowance per year.
Season ticket loan and cycle to work scheme available.
£30 per month mobile allowance (subject to tax & NI) and one-off £100 spend on home working equipment (to be supported by receipts).
